Hamilton to Expand West Coast Sales Efforts
SULTAN, WA - January 8, 2007
East Teak Fine Hardwoods, Inc., the industry leader in First
European Quality teak lumber and other fine hardwood products, is pleased to announce the
promotion of Marion E. Hamilton to vice president.
Hamilton will be responsible for managing sales efforts on the west coast. In particular, she will be
concentrating her efforts on the commercial and architectural communities.
When Hamilton began her career at East Teak in 1986, she oversaw database development and
management. Later she served as the project manager when East Teak opened their second
location in Sultan, Washington. In her recent tenure, she has focused her attention on building a
client base with architects, wholesale lumber yards, builders and contractors interested in teak and
other fine hardwoods.
"Marion brings tremendous industry expertise to her new position, as a result of her many years
with the company," said Don R. Daseke, chairman and CEO. "Marion's product knowledge and
superb customer service will be instrumental in helping East Teak grow in the coming year."
